Description
Unitil is hiring a Gas Controller to operate and control natural gas transmission and distribution systems, monitor SCADA and pipeline bulletin boards, coordinate supply, scheduling, balancing, and emergency responses, and support the Gas Control Supervisor. The role works rotating 12-hour day and night shifts in-office at Gas Control Rooms in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Exeter, New Hampshire; or Portland, Maine. Candidates need an associate degree in business or engineering technology or equivalent experience, strong analytical and communication skills, SCADA and gas operations knowledge, and certification within six months of start date.
