Description
Eversource is hiring one regular Gas Distribution Engineer to plan, design, schedule, and oversee engineering assignments for gas distribution, pressure-regulating systems, regulator stations, telemetry, uprates, distribution mains, and related construction projects. The role includes site layouts, procurement, permitting, construction coordination, compliance oversight, documentation, and emergency restoration support, with field observations and travel to Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field, at least three years of related experience, engineering design experience, gas experience, welding and fusing knowledge, AutoCAD familiarity, and a valid motor vehicle operator license are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.
