Description
The Gas Turbine Coating Operator performs thermal aluminide coating processes on gas turbine engine components, including A12 retort packing, furnace loading, spray and monitor coating application, abrasive blasting, and coating adherence checks. The role may also perform assembly, disassembly, vibratory tumbling, blending, peening, grit blasting, and masking. The operator follows work instructions and customer specifications, maintains quality and safety standards, performs routine machine maintenance, prepares quality documents, and supports continuous improvement.
