Description

Moraine Park Technical College is looking for a full-time Gas Utility Construction and Service Technician Instructor for their Beaver Dam Campus. This instructor will deliver instruction, develop curriculum, assess student performance, and provide continuous student support. They will also contribute to student recruitment and foster partnerships with various stakeholders. The role requires strong knowledge of the gas utility industry, proficiency in welding, and adherence to safety standards such as OSHA 510 "Train the Trainer" certification. Candidates should hold an associate degree or equivalent, along with significant relevant work experience, preferably within the last five years.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: an associate degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or willing to obtain an Associate Degree from an accredited program
Required Previous Experiences: two years (4,000 hours) of paid work experience related to the program(s) being taught, including one year (2,000 hours) of related paid work experience that has been acquired within the past five years
In lieu of this one year of recent experience, two years of post-secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the past five years may be considered. (Two years of post-secondary teaching experience means eight semesters of part-time teaching or four semesters of full-time teaching at an accredited institution.)
