Description
The Gate Attendant serves as a front-line employee managing the entrance of arriving and departing aircraft vehicles, third-party vehicles, and transportation-network companies. Responsibilities include greeting passengers and crew, signing visitors in, providing directions, handling deliveries, operating gate locks, issuing ramp passes, completing vehicle logs, communicating vehicle needs, managing parking and vehicle flow, maintaining a clean work area, assisting with luggage, and using radio and digital communications. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license; no special licenses, certificates, or prior experience are required.
