Description

Amgen is hiring an Associate Director, Information Systems, GCO Technology Data & Analytics to lead DevOps and client-facing delivery for commercial data and analytics product teams. The role owns data management platform roadmaps, governance, agile operating models, DevOps automation, compliance, product-owner management, and the end-to-end delivery of scalable data and analytics platforms. It requires 14–17 years of relevant data-management experience, large-scale DevOps leadership, cloud and Databricks expertise, and commercial data and analytics domain knowledge.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 14–17 years of relevant data-management experience focused on commercial data and analytics
Experience managing large-scale DevOps operations through agile product teams
Experience leading cross-functional technologists in an agile operating model
Experience managing commercial data platform operations in Databricks, including development and integrations
Experience managing product features, PI planning, product roadmaps, and user journeys
Preferred Qualifications: SAFe for Teams certification
Experience with spec-driven development
Familiarity with low-code, no-code test automation software
Experience with semantic modeling, knowledge graphs, and context engineering
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills for complex data challenges using AI/ML frameworks
