Description

SDG Group is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud Platform, with experience in Terraform, Ansible, Python, GitOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP security and governance, and observability. The role requires a relevant engineering or systems training background and at least two years of GCP infrastructure management experience, and is based in Milan, Florence, or Verona with a hybrid work model.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent training; Higher Vocational Training in Systems Administration or Application Development is also accepted.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of experience managing infrastructure in GCP cloud environments and developing in Python.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD for pipelines and data platforms.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Expertise in GCP security and governance, including IAM, RBAC, and Secret Manager.
Experience with Google Artifact Registry.
Experience setting up Google Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Error Reporting.
Preferred Qualifications: AWS and/or Azure experience
