Description
The Mechanical Development team is seeking a gearbox development engineer to design high-precision, low-backlash gearboxes for robotic drives and bring them to series maturity. The role covers gearbox sizing and design, tolerance, material, lubrication, and bearing concepts; collaboration with gearbox and bearing simulation; prototype building, testing, and optimization; and technical coordination with suppliers and manufacturing. Candidates should have a mechanical engineering degree focused on drive technology or design, gearbox development experience, knowledge of gear design and tribology, and proficiency with 3D CAD and sizing tools such as KISSsoft.
