Qualcomm is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead AI-first engineering initiatives across embedded software, platform systems, product enablement, and engineering infrastructure. The role will execute GenAI workstreams, build reusable AI-enabled software development lifecycle capabilities, develop agents and tools, integrate MCP services, evaluate workflows, and drive adoption across engineering teams. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree plus 2–4 years of software engineering experience, along with 3+ years of hands-on experience building or deploying AI/ML, GenAI, LLM, or AI-enabled engineering applications. The listed pay range is $141,300 to $211,900.
