Artech is hiring a full-time onsite Data Engineer in McLean, Virginia, to modernize its Operational Data Store and improve trade data capture. The role involves designing data-transfer methods, loading data into an OLTP, using AI for migration and reconciliation, and collaborating with architecture, security, networking, platform, and application teams. Candidates need 8–10 years of application development experience, Java or Python experience, backend service and REST API experience, AI/ML pipeline experience, Apache Kafka expertise, and prior client or industry experience; AWS, containerization, real-time analytics, and CI/CD experience are preferred. The salary is 170,000 per year, and applicants must work directly for Artech on W2.
