Description
Vitol is hiring a full-time, permanent AI Engineer to build LLM-based automation solutions for its energy and commodities business. The role focuses on agentic workflows, production-ready prompts, AI Skills, and MCPs, while collaborating with trading, operations, and support stakeholders to translate business needs into deployable solutions. Candidates need a technical degree, 3–5 years of software, data, or AI engineering experience, Python fluency, LLM and agentic-systems experience, and familiarity with Git, Docker, and full-stack development. The position is hands-on and autonomous, with preferred experience in MCP servers, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, prompt engineering, cloud platforms, quantitative finance, and LLM evaluation.
