Description
Optibus is hiring an experienced GenAI Software Engineer to build and operate a production AI assistant embedded across its public-transportation software suite. The role spans LLM agent design, tool and MCP integrations, RAG and semantic retrieval, frontend host integration, evaluation and observability, cloud infrastructure, deployments, and performance/cost management. Candidates need 7+ years of software engineering experience, strong TypeScript, at least 3 years of Node.js backend experience, production LLM application experience, AWS, web fundamentals, Docker, and CI/CD; the position is hybrid with three office days per week.
