Oversee daily patient care operations, including staffing, workflow, and supply management. Assist supervisors in evaluating and improving care, act as a clinical resource, and guide staff. Implement care management and quality initiatives, establish quality standards, and monitor care delivery. Maintain policy knowledge, ensure staff compliance, and uphold safety and infection control standards. Apply the nursing process for ongoing care, respond to patient status changes, and determine priority needs. Provide triage and consultation, prepare patients for exams, and document health information. Perform various laboratory procedures and advanced clinical tasks like suture removal and catheterization. Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and educate patients on treatment and self-care.
