Description
The General Assembler assembles individual components into complete steering gears by loading parts onto a conveyor, installing seals and covers, scanning dimensions, applying torque, and checking for leaks. The role also includes tool and equipment setup, machine adjustments, quality inspections, computerized gauging, statistical process control, recordkeeping, and compliance with manufacturing and safety standards. It is an 8-hour day-shift position Monday through Friday, with no supervisory responsibilities and preferred experience in production or manufacturing environments.
