AFC Materials Group is seeking a General Assembler for their Lake in the Hills, IL location. This full-time position offers 1st and 2nd shifts with a compensation of $16.50/hr plus a shift differential for the 2nd shift. The role involves hands-on fabrication of specialty lightweight food belts, food baskets, and fabric pieces for the Quick Serve Restaurant line of business. Responsibilities include placing ends on fabricated parts, unloading cured belts, checking for defects, applying instructions, inserting pins, packaging products for shipment, creating items based on instructions, and maintaining a clean work area. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, an ability to lift up to 15-30 pounds, and a good understanding of quality control.
