Description
The Albany Housing Authority is hiring a General Counsel to serve as the chief legal advisor to the Executive Director and department directors, advise the Board of Commissioners, handle legal matters and litigation, prepare legal documents, coordinate outside counsel, and support compliance, employee and customer grievances, collective bargaining, and other Authority activities. The role requires an LL.B. or J.D. degree, three years of relevant legal, policy, or compliance experience, and a New York State law license.
