PICO California is hiring a General Counsel to serve as the organization’s primary legal advisor and lead legal strategy, compliance, risk management, governance, contracts, and regulatory matters. The role focuses on nonprofit, tax-exempt, lobbying, political activity, and California employment law, advises on 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and PAC structures, and manages outside counsel. The position reports to the Deputy Chief of Staff, requires a Juris Doctor and active California State Bar membership, and offers a hybrid arrangement in California with 100% employer-paid health, vision, and dental coverage.
