Description
Upside is hiring an experienced executive attorney to serve as General Counsel, reporting to the CFO and mentoring Deputy General Counsels. The role provides legal guidance across contract law, privacy, data protection, consumer protection, employment, and commercial litigation; oversees contract review and execution; drafts and negotiates major commercial contracts; leverages AI for legal productivity; and manages outside counsel. The position is based in the company’s Washington, D.C. office with required in-office attendance on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and offers a full-time base salary of $300,000 to $325,000 plus equity and benefits.
