Description
The General Engineer serves as a professional multidisciplinary engineer supporting the acquisition, development, sustainment, modification, and production of weapon systems, subsystems, support systems, equipment, or equivalent products. The role interprets engineering requirements, develops performance and integration requirements, performs complex analyses, documents systems requirements, and provides technical direction and advisory services to senior subject matter specialists and agency officials. Applicants must have an engineering degree or an equivalent education-and-experience combination, at least one year of specialized engineering experience, and must meet applicable DAWIA and continuing acquisition education requirements.
