Description
The General Maintenance Assistant will support the Maintenance Department by inspecting buildings, equipment, and facilities; assisting with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs; maintaining workshop and storage areas; and replacing minor fittings. The role requires Grade 12, basic maintenance-tool knowledge, a valid driver’s licence, foundational mechanical and electrical understanding, physical ability to perform varied work, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. One to two years of maintenance, technical, or facilities experience is advantageous, as is experience with general maintenance and basic welding.
