Description
The General Maintenance Technician I performs basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, interior-finish, and appliance maintenance in a primarily response-based team environment. The role includes inspecting and preparing guest units, assisting guests and staff with maintenance concerns, completing assigned repairs, maintaining service records, and using company work-order software. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of driving experience, a valid driver’s license, mechanical aptitude, basic repair and customer-service skills, and the ability to learn skilled maintenance work; six months of building maintenance or construction experience is preferred.
