Description
Augustana University is hiring a General Maintenance Technician for its Facility Services department to perform scheduled, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance and repairs across campus. The role covers plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, doors and locks, equipment maintenance, installations, remodeling, grounds work, emergency repairs, tool and vehicle maintenance, and lock-system support. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, three to five years of general maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint and tool experience, and a valid South Dakota driver's license. The schedule is 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. during the academic year and 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. during the summer, with on-call rotation and occasional evening, weekend, holiday, or extended-day work.
