Description
The General Maintenance Technician supports the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and appearance of a workforce accommodations facility. Reporting to the Facility Manager, the role performs general maintenance and minor repairs, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, grounds maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, commercial kitchen equipment support, preventative maintenance, and safety reporting. The position requires practical repair and grounds-maintenance experience, tool proficiency, independent task management, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift 35–50 pounds.
