Description
C Speed, LLC is looking for an entry-level Aerostat Operator with experience in line handling operations to support the DHS Customs & Border Protection Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) program. This role involves working with aerostat systems providing persistent surveillance and detection capabilities across the US Southern border. Responsibilities include flight crew member duties like pre/post flight, launch/recovery, helium topping, inflation/deflation, tether inspection, and emergency procedure proficiency. Additionally, the role includes performing equipment maintenance on aerostat and radar systems, assisting with pre-flight and post-flight checks, troubleshooting and repairing various components, operating vehicles, and coordinating logistics.
