Description
The General Maintenance Worker performs semi-skilled preventive and general maintenance, repair, and alteration of campus buildings, facilities, fixtures, systems, and equipment. Duties include assisting tradesmen, troubleshooting and installing access-control systems and security cameras, performing minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, welding, and construction work, maintaining tools and facilities, and supporting special events. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of general maintenance experience or equivalent education and training, a forklift operator’s license, and a valid New Mexico or Texas driver’s license. Compensation is $20.07–$21.73 per hour, and the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
