St. Louis County is hiring a permanent, full-time General Maintenance Worker for the Property Management Department at the Duluth St. Louis County Jail. The day-shift role runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes janitorial cleaning, sanitation, trash and recycling disposal, light equipment operation, minor repairs, and assistance with maintenance workers. The position pays $21.28 to $28.75 per hour, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of full-time paid custodial or janitorial experience, and a valid driver's license. Applicants must pass a drug test and background investigation, and the position is subject to a twelve-month probationary period.
