Description
The General Mechanic performs preventative, corrective, repair, installation, replacement, and testing work for building systems and equipment at Miami Valley Hospital. Responsibilities include operating engines, boilers, pumps, air compressors, air conditioning, heating and ventilating systems, steam lines, valves, controls, production equipment, and maintenance support equipment. The role requires high school completion or a GED, 1–3 years of job-related maintenance experience, and skills including welding, blueprint reading, equipment operation, and accurate data recording.
