Description
The General Operative will work on civil engineering and utility projects across East Anglia, the East Midlands, and South Lincolnshire, carrying out groundwork, excavations, reinstatements, ducting, drainage, pipe laying, and concreting. The role involves operating hand tools and small plant, moving materials, maintaining safe working areas, completing site documentation, and following health, safety, environmental, and equipment procedures. Previous civil engineering, utilities, construction, or groundwork experience is desirable but not essential, and training can be provided for the right candidate.
