FirstEnergy Service Company is hiring a full-time, on-site Generation Equipment Maintenance Engineer in Fairmont, West Virginia. The role monitors and supports air compressors, coal pulverizers, boiler feed pumps, and other rotating generation equipment; develops long- and short-term maintenance and repair plans; leads reliability-focused diagnostics and corrective actions; coordinates technical services; prepares budgets and project documentation; and leads contractors. The position requires an engineering degree, 4–7 years of power-plant or job-related experience, engineering economics and budgeting proficiency, and the ability to work safely in confined spaces or on scaffolding.
