Morgan Stanley is hiring a Vice President-level Generative AI Backend Engineering leader to design, build, and operate scalable backend and Generative AI solutions in an investment banking environment. The role leads architecture, implementation, production deployment, reliability, security, testing, observability, CI/CD, and engineering delivery while mentoring engineers and collaborating with business and technology partners. Candidates should have 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, strong distributed systems and backend skills, and experience with Generative AI or the ability to develop that expertise.
