Description
The Generative AI Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimize generative AI applications, with a focus on RAG pipelines, vector search, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, data quality, guardrails, evaluation, and production MLOps/LLMOps. The role collaborates with the AI platform team and business units to scale AI capabilities across the BMW Group, while contributing expertise in LLM orchestration and software engineering. The position requires a relevant university degree, at least seven years of backend or data-intensive software engineering experience, strong Python skills, and experience with production systems, LLM orchestration, RAG, vector databases, data pipelines, and AI application safety and evaluation.
