Foundational is hiring a full-time, on-site Geodetic Data Scientist in London to process large volumes of satellite laser ranging data into geodetic and orbit products. The role involves building processing pipelines, developing statistical methods for bias detection and data quality, analyzing station and network performance, collaborating with geodesy and orbit determination teams, and producing reports and customer-facing metrics. Candidates should have a degree in geodesy, physics, mathematics, data science, or a similar field, strong Python and scientific-stack skills, statistical expertise, and experience with large scientific datasets.
