Description
AECOM is hiring an experienced Geologist to provide technical and management support for environmental projects, primarily Remedial Investigations and Site Assessments, in the Washington, D.C. region. The role involves project planning, technical reporting, client and stakeholder interaction, permitting, remedial-action planning, field investigations, drilling and monitoring-well oversight, and safety supervision of AECOM staff and subcontractors. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in geology or a related science, at least four years of relevant environmental-consulting experience, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and U.S. citizenship; sponsorship is unavailable. Field work is anticipated in a roughly 35/65 field/office split, with periodic travel.
