Description
Schnabel Engineering is seeking a temporary full-time Geosciences Intern in Greensboro, North Carolina, to support dam, tunnel, and geohazard engineering projects across the United States. The intern will perform geological and geotechnical field work, collect data, observe subsurface explorations, create plans and figures using AutoCAD, GIS, and Leapfrog, and assist with geological and geotechnical proposals and reports. The position requires current enrollment in a geology bachelor’s or master’s program, outdoor and field work, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel; compensation is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour.
