The Geologist/Mining Engineer will develop long-term reserves of quality stone, sand, and gravel across Central and Southern Utah and support aggregate plant operations by improving life-of-mining strategies and extending quarry reserves. The role includes strategic land acquisitions, geologic modeling, drilling and exploration, reserves assessment, mine planning, and negotiations with state and federal agencies, academic institutions, the industry, and other stakeholders. The position is ideally based in St. George, Utah, but may be based at other operations in the region with additional travel.
