Description
Central Oregon Community College is hiring a temporary, part-time Geology Field Assistant for the 2026–2027 academic year in Bend. The role supports instructors and students during field trips and related activities, drives the COCC vehicle, leads student groups in field activities, and follows safety procedures. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, coursework or experience in outdoor leadership, field sciences, or an equivalent area, and a current valid Oregon driver’s license or ability to obtain one. Wilderness First Responder or other first-aid experience, current First Aid or CPR certification, and familiarity with the college curriculum are preferred.
