Description
Stratus is hiring a Geomatics Engineering Intern to support surveyors, engineers, and geospatial professionals on land surveying, mapping, data collection, calculations, drawings, and spatial analysis for infrastructure and development projects. The intern will assist with boundary, topographic, construction, utility, and control survey activities; process GPS, laser-scanning, drone, CAD, and GIS data; and learn field methods, coordinate systems, project documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination. Required qualifications include enrollment in a relevant bachelor’s or associate degree program, relevant coursework, basic surveying or geospatial knowledge, fieldwork ability, and Microsoft Office and basic CAD or GIS skills. Preferred qualifications include related internship or project experience and familiarity with surveying equipment and GIS or Civil 3D tools.
