Description
McElhanney is hiring a Surveying and Geomatics Intern for its Cranbrook branch, supporting field and office work across surveying and geomatics projects in the East Kootenay region. The intern will assist with GNSS, RTK, total stations, data processing, mapping, equipment maintenance, and emerging technologies such as drones and 3D laser scanning. The role requires enrollment in a Geomatics diploma or degree program, outdoor and travel readiness, a Class 5 driver’s license, and attention to detail; previous outdoor experience and advanced geomatics knowledge are assets. Compensation is $22–$28 per hour, with scholarship, mentorship, education support, and other benefits.
