Hunt Oil Company is hiring a paid summer Geoscience Intern for its Western Region Subsurface department in the Dallas, Texas office. The intern will interpret subsurface geology in the Williston Basin, focusing on the mixed carbonate Bakken-Three Forks formations, and perform exploration and development tasks including petrophysical analysis, structural and stratigraphic mapping, development planning, data science analysis, and potentially geosteering or drilling operations. The role requires a thesis-option master’s in geoscience, a minimum 3.0 GPA, ArcGIS or mapping software proficiency, and strong stratigraphy and sedimentology knowledge; data science and petrophysics experience are preferred. Housing may be provided, and the internship is onsite.
