Description

Core One is recruiting a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst to provide geospatial analysis, geospatial information systems, location analysis, spatial data governance, metadata management, and custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows. The role requires a relevant technical degree or equivalent training and experience, an active TS/SCI security clearance, and expertise with GIS platforms, spatial databases, geospatial programming, and intelligence-community data. Desired qualifications include intelligence-community and DoD geospatial experience, cartography, spatial modeling, project management, and professional GIS certification.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Geomatics or Geospatial Sciences, or an HS diploma/GED with DoD/Geospatial Information Services training and at least 15 years of intelligence analysis experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 5 years of relevant experience for the master's or master's-equivalent education path.
10 years of relevant experience for the bachelor's degree path.
At least 15 years of intelligence analysis experience for the HS diploma/GED path.
Experience in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
Expert knowledge of location analysis desktop and server applications.
Experience using and managing spatial relational databases.
Experience with geographically-derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management, and business metrics.
Experience delivering custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows with geospatial programming.
Experience coordinating technical projects and software and service assessments with industry counterparts.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Intelligence Community and Department of Defense geospatial data and repositories.
Experience with common project management frameworks.
Knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, and spatial modeling.
Experience delivering custom solutions with Python, R, SAS, Java, or other programming languages.
Familiarity with Army, Department of Defense, or Intelligence Community geospatial processes, policy, and programs.
Private-sector or government professional GIS certification.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and graphic design principles.
Familiarity with DoD/NSG Structured Observation Management and object-based production.
