Description

SHAPE is recruiting a temporary geospatial data and analytics professional for its J2 Geospatial Support Section. The role focuses on geospatial data and metadata management, data architecture, schema development, data modelling, interoperability, governance, exchange-platform systems handling, stakeholder liaison, data visualization, and analysis in support of NATO operations and the Alliance. The contract is temporary through 31 December 2026, may be extended, requires existing or recently held NATO security clearance, and may involve travel and unsocial hours.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Higher secondary education plus intermediate vocational training and formal technical/professional certification with 2 years of related experience, or secondary education plus advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification/accreditation with 4 years of related experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of experience working with geolocated data, data science, and analytics.
Experience producing intelligence by combining quality-assured geospatial information with verified military or other intelligence-source feature data.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing and deploying Geographic Information Systems.
Bachelor's degree in a geospatial or data analytics-related subject.
Knowledge of NATO GIS systems, geospatial information content, data structures, and workflows.
Valid NATO or national security clearance.
