Description
The Geospatial Technician supports the collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation of geospatial and remote sensing data for wind, solar, transmission, and energy storage projects. The role travels to project sites as a drone pilot to collect LiDAR, photogrammetric, surveyed ground-point, and other field data, then processes and analyzes the data, manages metadata, performs quality assurance and quantity calculations, and supports survey staff. The position is hybrid in Denver, requiring three office days and two remote days when not traveling, with domestic travel of 51–75%. A high school diploma or GED and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License are required; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant geospatial field is preferred. The anticipated base salary is $24.05–$30.06, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
