Description
Arcadis is hiring a Geotechnical Advisor to work on hydraulic engineering, infrastructure, and building projects in the Netherlands and abroad. The role focuses on structural geotechnics, including retaining walls, foundations, reinforced soil, dike reinforcements, deep construction pits, and quay walls. Responsibilities include defining, supervising, and interpreting ground investigations, performing design calculations, preparing advisory reports, and using geotechnical software while considering economic optimization, constructability, environmental impact, and safety. The position requires Dutch fluency, a civil engineering or geotechnical/hydraulic engineering degree, relevant geotechnical experience, and experience with D-Series and Plaxis 2D/3D; hybrid working is supported.
