AECOM is hiring a full-time Geotechnical Engineer for a new position based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. The role focuses on rock mechanics, geotechnical design, site reconnaissance, geological mapping, slope and tunnel stability, geotechnical investigations, and preparation of design reports and technical proposals. The engineer will use RocScience Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and potentially Leapfrog, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, clients, and local authorities. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant geotechnical or geological engineering discipline and six years of experience in geotechnical design and numerical analysis are required; a master’s or PhD, professional registration, and experience with tunnels, hydraulic structures, and terrain hazards are preferred.
