Description
Coeur Mining is hiring an Underground Geotechnical Engineer to provide geotechnical and ground-control support for underground mining operations at Silvertip. The role combines field inspections, stability and rock-mechanics analysis, ground-support design, monitoring and instrumentation, risk management, quality assurance, contractor oversight, and mine-planning input. It is a site-based position requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, 4 to 8 years of underground geotechnical experience, and Professional Engineer registration or eligibility; a master's degree and underground-mine experience are preferred. The engineer will work a two-week rotation with 12-hour shifts at a remote camp and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
