Description
12-month student work term supporting Canadian Natural's geotechnical engineering team in designing, analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining mining earth structures such as tailings dams, waste dumps, roads, and mine pit walls. The role involves processing instrumentation data, preparing monitoring reports, performing engineering calculations and modeling under supervision, supporting technical documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and potentially applying Python, VBA, or SQL coding to automation and robotics processes. Positions are based in Calgary or Fort McMurray, Alberta, with terms starting in May or September 2027.
