Description
Stantec is hiring a Geotechnical Engineering Technologist on a regular full-time basis to work in the field at active mine sites and civil earthwork projects, reporting from the Edmonton office. The role may cover civil field, instrumentation monitoring, or materials testing duties, including soil sampling and compaction testing, geotechnical and hydrogeological instrumentation, data logging, quality control, construction monitoring, and laboratory soil testing. The position requires rotations of 12-hour day/night shifts, travel to remote field locations, and a minimum post-secondary technical diploma in a relevant discipline, with 5+ years of geotechnical laboratory or field testing experience.
