Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is hiring a Geotechnical/Structural Engineering professional to lead investigations, analyses, design, peer reviews, repairs, rehabilitation, and new construction projects involving foundations, ground improvement, retaining and excavation support systems, slopes, groundwater, dams, tunnels, pavements, and deteriorated structures. The role includes complex project management, supervision and coaching of technical staff, proposal and report preparation, client and external team leadership, technical training, and insurance or litigation support. Candidates need 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, professional licensure, an MS or Ph.D. in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, advanced computer analysis software expertise, project and scope management skills, professional organization involvement, and willingness to travel to remote project sites. The stated salary range is $93,600-$120,120 USD, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
