Description
Hennepin Healthcare seeks a part-time, in-person GI Technician for its GI Diagnostic Lab. The role supports gastroenterology physicians, nurses, anesthesia personnel, and other hospital professionals during procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and PEG placement. Responsibilities include patient transport and transfer, vital-sign and point-of-care testing, EHR and Provation documentation, procedure-room and equipment setup, endoscope handling and pre-cleaning, specimen collection, infection control, radiation safety, equipment troubleshooting, and BLS support. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of patient-care experience, prior high-acuity inpatient or procedural-area experience, and current BLS certification.
