Description
The Gastro Endoscopy Technician performs procedure-room setup, equipment inspection and troubleshooting, room cleaning and stocking, endoscopic equipment reprocessing, and direct and indirect patient care during GI procedures. The role also supports physicians and nursing staff with biopsy collection, submucosal injections, anesthesia supplies, admission and recovery, and fire-safety timeouts. It is a full-time day-shift position with weekday and weekend call coverage, requires a high school diploma or GED, Basic Life Support upon hire, and 6–12 months of on-the-job training; Certified Nurse Aide certification is preferred.
